Our Privacy Policy
I-Pension LLC is committed to keeping all personal information about you and your account confidential and secure. This policy explains how we protect your privacy.
Our Pledge
- We will only use personal client information to conduct our business, as described in the Client Agreement and Investment Policy Statement.
- I-Pension will not share, sell or rent your personal information to third parties. However, we may disclose your personal information to third-party partners who provide services on our behalf.
- We require all employees to keep client files and personal information confidential.
Personal Information We Collect and Maintain
The majority of the personal information that we maintain is provided by you. We collected this information when you signed up for our services, and from subsequent conversations between you and your advisor. That information may include, but is not limited to, the following: your name, address, telephone number, birth date, Social Security number, income, and assets.
In addition, we also collect a variety of information on our Investor Profile questionnaire that helps us determine the suitability of the investments we recommend. And, if we are managing money in an employer-sponsored savings plan, you will have provided us with log-in information such as your Personal Identification Number (PIN) and answers to "secret questions."
How We Use Personal Information
We use this information to determine the suitability of investments we recommend to you. We continually strive to keep this information up-to-date to ensure that our recommendations are appropriate.
In order to manage assets in your employer-sponsored savings plan, we require access to the recordkeeping systems of the plan administrator. In order to make changes to an asset allocation program, these systems typically require your Social Security number or other unique identifier, as well as your PIN and answers to one or more security questions (e.g., "what is your mother's maiden name?").
Keeping Your Information Secure
I-Pension places great importance on the security of all information associated with our clients, both past and current. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural security measures to safeguard confidential client information. Only authorized personnel have access to personal information and only as it relates to administering our business. I-Pension will not disclose information regarding you or your account except to government entities or other third-parties in response to subpoenas or other legal process as required by law. Should you end your relationship with I-Pension, we will continue to protect your personal information in accordance with the privacy practices outlined in this document.
Privacy Policy Changes
We may make changes to this privacy policy in the future. Before doing so, we will send you a copy of the revised policy. In addition, as long as you remain a client, we will send a copy of the current privacy policy once a year.
